The Johns Hopkins Cardiovascular Diagnostic Laboratory (CVDL) is a state of the art imaging facility performing over 24,000 diagnostic and interventional procedures annually. We treat the following conditions: Congenital heart defects Coronary artery disease Cardiomyopathy Heart failure Peripheral vascular disease Valvular heart disease The CVDL operates eleven (11) procedure rooms. There are general areas within the CVDL: Cardiology Radiology Electrophysiology We are currently searching for a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist to join our elite team. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic Technology
  • AA degree preferred
  • No direct cardiology experience required
  • New grads encouraged to apply
  • Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance as a Radiology Tech
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • CVRT I: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required within 1 year from the end of orientation date. Advanced certification is encouraged. Must pass JHH Arrhythmia Course and Exam before recording independently
  • CVRT II: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required. CI or CV registry is encouraged, in Electrophysiology, RCES registry and HRS certification is encouraged. Current PALS Certification is required if in pediatric cardiology. Must pass the JHH Arrhythmia Recognition exam annually.
