Position Summary: As our Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist at CRMC you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting. This is a unique opportunity to be at theforefront of cardiac innovation, enhancing your skills within a dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking clinical environment Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis. Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself. Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Requirements

  • Two (2)-years of current Radiology Technologist and hands-on scrub including interventional experience.
  • Completion of approved JRCERT Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • ADHS Bureau of Special Licensing -Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) CI, VI or CV.
  • Has, and maintains, AHA certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Computer skills including MS Office Suites or Google Work Space.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a specialty area or high acute facility.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University/College.
  • Registered cardiovascular electrophysiology specialist (RCES), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
