Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 1 (Interventional Radiology (IR Tech))

Inova Fairfax Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 1 to join the Interventional Radiology team. This role will be Day shift, M-F, (4) 10 hr shifts. Requirements
- Education: Vocational/Technical in the area of study in Radiologic Technology; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography
- Licensure: Licensed Radiologic Technologist Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Radiologic Technologist required only if the position is located in a free standing center not affiliated with an Inova Health System Hospital
- Certification: Basic Life Support Upon Start; American Registered Radiologic Technologists registry eligible. American Registered Radiologic Technologists certification must be obtained within one year of hire
- Experience: None required
Responsibilities
- Assists radiation safety by maintaining safe practices.
- Assists team and customers with prompt room turnover.
- Recognizes adverse clinical situations and helps other personnel to do so.
- Accurately implements computer orders for all Interventional Radiology functions.
