Cardiology NP/PA
About The Position
We are a thriving, energetic private cardiology group with four full-time cardiologists (soon expanding to five) and a collaborative care team that includes a nurse practitioner and outstanding medical assistants and administrative support staff. Our practice provides a broad spectrum of in-office diagnostic and interventional cardiology services in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced cardiovascular technology. We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Assistant to join our team and oversee our stress testing at out Thousand Oaks location. The ideal candidate will be motivated, collegial, and committed to providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic outpatient setting. This is a great entry way into a specialty and gain experience and knowledge base. This person will oversee our Stress Echocardiogram lab, PET Imaging, as well as perform Bubble Echocardiograms.
Requirements
- Active California Nurse Practitioner license and national certification required.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Cardiology— a plus!
- Prior exposure to device management, stress testing, echocardiography, and vascular imaging is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with common cardiovascular conditions including heart failure, arrhythmia, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, and hypertension.
- Oversee our Stress Echocardiogram lab, PET Imaging, as well as perform Bubble Echocardiograms.
