About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is seeking a full-time Scheduler. This role involves scheduling procedures for patients using a computerized scheduling system. The individual will be responsible for accurately obtaining all necessary information during the scheduling process to ensure the correct patient and procedure are scheduled.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1 Year Customer Service Experience Required
- 1 Year Medical Terminology Required
- 1 Year Medical Office Experience Required
Responsibilities
- Schedules procedures for patients in a computerized scheduling system
- Accountable for accurately obtaining required information in the scheduling process, ensuring the correct patient and procedure requested has been scheduled
