About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to multitask and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are required in dealing with patients, co-workers, and the public.
• Excellent telephone etiquette skills are required.
• Basic computer skills, understanding of Microsoft windows environment required.
• Working knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, fax machines and other office equipment required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a Hospital or Physician Office setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• The Clinic Scheduler is responsible for scheduling, canceling, and confirming patient’s appointments by direct or indirect contact with our customers.
• Ensures that accurate, complete, and thorough patient demographics are entered into the computer system, and authorizations are secured when applicable.
