About The Position

Under the direction of the Site Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the health and well-being of the patients, conducting diagnostic testing, telephone triage, evaluating patient care and problem solving patient care needs. This position will works in a collaborative relationship with physicians and all other members of the health care team. In addition, this position plans and implements patient and family education. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or High school diploma with equivalent (2 years') related experience may be substituted to meet education requirements.
  • Graduate from a qualified Medical Device Technical Program.
  • Coursework/Training: Successfully completed a formal comprehensive training program in electrophysiology that facilitates a minimum of 6 months didactic training and exposure to the field.
  • New graduate from medical device program considered.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or related field.
  • 2 years Medical device experience.
  • Prior utilization of Paceart database.
  • 1 year Cardiac catheterization lab highly desirable
  • Experience with documentation and technical writing skills in a regulated compliance environment.
  • Electronic medical records highly desirable.
