Requirements
- Completion of an accredited cardiac sonography program.
- Credentialed or eligible for credentialing through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Must be credentialed within one year of hire date.
- Current BLS.
Nice To Haves
- Two years previous experience in adult transthoracic, stress (exercise and dobutamine), transesophageal (TEE) cardiac ultrasound preferred.
- Hospital setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Applies sonography safely to patients for diagnostic purposes upon the request of a physician.
- Works under the supervision of the interpreting physicians for cardiac sonography.
