About The Position
Well-established hospital located north of Lake Charles, LA is looking for a full-time permanent Cardiac Sonographer to join their team. Details are below. Cardiac Sonographer Opportunity: Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricles and left atrium, and visualize blood flow. Cardiac Sonographer Benefits: $3.00 per hour on call. If called back, will get 1 hour travel time. Will be paid time and ½ when called back. Evening Shift Diff (3p-11p): $3.00 Night Shift Diff (11p-7a): $4.25 Weekend Shift Diff (Saturday & Sunday): $3.00 Cardiac Sonographer Qualifications: Full-Time with Benefits 6am-6pm (7 on - 7 off) The Surrounding Environment: Recognized for its strong community spirit Offers nearby natural escapes for paddling and exploring, with lush waterways A welcoming community with a suburban-rural mix
Requirements
- Experience performing Echocardiograms
- Experience performing Stress Tests required
- Must be RDCS certified
- On Call is required for the Cardiac Sonographer
