Banner University Medical Center Tucson is a large hospital with almost 700 beds and South Campus is a smaller hospital, with around 220, so our sonographers have the opportunity to work in a mix of settings. This is a comprehensive echo position, and as a sonographer you will have the opportunity to do all of the cool things you learned about in school. Our partnership with the physicians and fellows makes a really fun learning environment. As a Sonographer, you are required to work at all three locations, Banner University Medical Center North, South and Main Campus. This position is 40-hours per week with four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts and variable start and end times dependent on department needs. POSITION SUMMARY This position, acting as a specialized ultrasound technologist, aids in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions in patients, playing a central role in detecting issues related to the heart, including heart malfunctions and in supporting the physicians as they develop diagnosis and treatment plans.
