About The Position
The Cardiac Sonographer uses echocardiography or ultrasound equipment to evaluate the cardiac system allowing the physician to diagnose the patient’s cardiac function. The individual will record patient history, analyze technical information and provide summaries of findings to physicians. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus up to $20,000!
Requirements
- Two year associate degree or two year technical diploma in a related health care program.
- Patient care experience.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) awarded by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within two years of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree.
- One year experience as a cardiac sonographer.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) awarded by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
