About The Position

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, a 404-bed Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital affiliated with UCF College of Medicine, is expanding its Electrophysiology (EP) Services and seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician . This role supports physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias and vascular conditions within the Cath/EP Lab.

Requirements

• Graduate of CCAHEP-accredited program
• 2 years of EP experience with knowledge of EP and ablation devices
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Credentialed as one of the following: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech) Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• Acute care experience strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting complex EP procedures and ablations
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills in a high-paced lab environment

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during EP procedures including: PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement
• EP device implants and ablations
• Prepare and maintain equipment and EP devices for procedures
• Monitor patients and provide support throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedure details
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and efficiency
