Cardiac Device Technician - Float Personnel - Temporary
About The Position
The Cardiac Device Tech works with physicians, mid-levels, clinical staff and office staff to effectively, efficiently and accurately fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a busy outpatient device clinic. All procedures and treatments performed must be ordered by the physician, and/or mid-level providers. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Health or Science related field Or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or Upon hire: National Certified Cardiac Device Specialist - International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Or Upon hire: National Cardiac Device Remote Monitoring Specialist - International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Or Upon hire: National Certified Electrophysiology Specialist - International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 2 years of experience in the healthcare and/or assessment of cardiac patients
