About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support both cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (IR) procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Radiologic Technologist with hands-on experience in interventional cardiology and exposure to peripheral vascular procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license
- Cath Lab experience required
- Experience in interventional cardiology
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and procedural workflows
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Certifications such as: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- Experience with both cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Support both cardiac and peripheral (vascular) cases
- Operate imaging and radiologic equipment safely and effectively
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure proper positioning
- Monitor patient status during procedures and respond appropriately
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to safety protocols
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
