The Cardiovascular Invasive Special Procedures Tech provides competent, proficient, technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, implementing procedural standards and protocols. This role involves functioning as a scrub assistant, circulator, and monitor technician, assisting physicians with complex interventional devices, and collecting and interpreting hemodynamic data. The technologist is also responsible for patient care, including assessment, preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care such as sheath removal and hemostasis. Additionally, the position involves providing support and education to patients, families, and other healthcare team members, maintaining a safe and organized work environment by complying with safety standards and equipment maintenance, and demonstrating professional growth and adaptability to organizational changes. This is a full-time position with 3 x 12 hour shifts and on-call duties.
