The Capture Manager or Business Development Principal will support long‑range planning, opportunity qualification, competitive analysis, and strategy development. The ideal candidate brings an elite capability set aligned to high‑value Federal and DoD pursuits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 12+ years of experience with Federal clients.
  • Customer engagement experience with Department of War and/or FedCiv programs.
  • Strong relationships and influence with Government and industry leaders.
  • Demonstrated success leading diverse teams.
  • Experience working opportunities in CONUS and OCONUS environments.
  • Track record pursuing opportunities with the Department of War.
  • Experience supporting classified pursuits.
  • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of marketing and business plans, strategy implementation, and oversight of BD budgets and forecasts for assigned capture areas.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal cross‑business unit partners on enterprise and cross-cutting opportunities.
  • Manage and execute the full business development lifecycle across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals.
  • Develop pursuit plans, customer engagement strategies, and capture frameworks informed by deep understanding of customer needs, requirements, and mission priorities.
  • Lead customer, competitor, partner, and industry engagement to assess acquisition strategy, competitive landscape, timelines, and contract vehicles.
  • Lead white paper development, RFI responses, technical solution sessions, and early shaping activities.
  • Lead capture activities including opportunity identification, competitive assessment, teaming, price‑to-win, solutioning, and win strategy development.
  • Prioritize sales and technical resources to achieve strategic growth and protect existing customer relationships.
  • Success leading large, multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Integrate transformation experience, including value creation initiatives, organizational redesign, and leadership development.
