About The Position

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Capital Projects Engineer in the Filtration & Separation Division to lead impactful engineering projects driving growth and strategic objectives. Engage with skilled teams and advanced technologies in our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities: Develop project estimates, plans, and proposals, coordinating project approvals to ensure timely execution. Handle project timelines, scope, budget, construction activities, and personnel to efficiently implement and meet approved project commitments. Specify equipment and facilities performance and build criteria to maintain our high standards. Define and implement competitive bidding and project delivery strategies while maintaining a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness. Communicate effectively with project teams and collaborators to ensure smooth project progression. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, guidelines, and standards to maintain safety and regulatory requirements. Advance and deploy differentiated technologies that set us apart from the competition. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital project management, process engineering, product engineering, and/or manufacturing engineering in a private, public, government, or military environment. Preferred: Experience leading capital projects with a consistent track record of successful project schedule, scope, and cost delivery. Proven skills in project management, communication, facilitation, influencing, and teaching/mentoring. Project leadership experience in laboratories and/or manufacturing plants. Ability to energize teams, promote teamwork, and maintain positive morale. Advanced degree or equivalent experience in engineering field or technology management from an accredited institution is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Minnesota is $87,200.00–$130,775.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Requirements
