About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Specialist within the Securities Lending Middle Office team as apart of Corporate and Investment Banking. The role provides direct support to the Securities Lending desk which is focused across the domestic, international, and financing businesses. This opportunity provides direct exposure to business leaders and allows the individual to represent operations in a highly challenging and collaborative environment. We are looking for a proactive, responsible and dedicated individual that is able to work and communicate effectively in a high volume, fast paced environment. In this role, you will: Ensure timely, and accurate, returns, borrows, contract compare, account balancing, mark to markets, DTC monitoring, rate changes, billing, and Loanet matching for both international and domestic processing Identify opportunities to resolve complex confirmation and related trade issues Work collaboratively with other Wells Fargo groups and logistical functions including PB, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, Market Risk and Credit Risk Ensure control standards are in line with Bank policy as documented. Articulate all control deficiencies within a KRI, audit point or action plan Partner with Change Team to analyze and document current state processes and drive future state requirements Demonstrate sound understanding of the business and client issues together with the ability to develop solutions to meet these needs Display enthusiasm and self-motivation to overcome obstacles and demonstrate a positive approach while encouraging the same approach in others Drive continuous improvement to deliver on set quantitative goals Ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are of a high standard

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Ability to work on-site in stated location in compliance with our hybrid schedule 3/2 (500 W 33rd St, NEW YORK, NY 10001)
  • Expected hours are 9AM - 6PM with ability to work additional hours as needed depending on volumes.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
