About The Position
Orrick’s Capital Markets team is seeking a Managing Associate with 4-5 years of experience in equity and/or debt capital markets to join our dynamic and innovative legal team. The successful candidate can be based in our San Francisco, New York, or Boston offices. Our Capital Markets team focuses on capital raising solutions for innovators in the technology sector. We serve many of Orrick's 4,000+ tech and life sciences companies, guiding them from IPO through operating as public company and beyond. We also advise leading investment banks, venture capital funds and institutional investors in public equity and debt capital markets transactions.
Requirements
- major/peer law firm experience at the requisite level
- strong commitment to excellent client service
- significant experience in public securities offerings, including both equity and debt
- Strong interpersonal skills and a motivated, entrepreneurial outlook
- excellent academic credentials
- superior communication and organizational skills
- Bar membership in the state where they wish to practice
