About This Role Join Crusoe Energy as an Associate Capacity Planning Analyst, a foundational role within our Capacity Planning & Efficiency team. As a recent graduate, you will play a key part in supporting the forecasting, allocation, and optimization of resources essential for our AI cloud and data center expansion. You will learn to balance infrastructure, financial, and business constraints to help Crusoe scale efficiently. Working under the mentorship of senior planners, you will collaborate across engineering and business teams, directly contributing to our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence in the cloud space.

Requirements

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related technical field with a graduation date of May 2025-May 2026.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong foundational skills in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or advanced Excel.
  • Analytical Mindset: A data-driven approach to problem-solving and a desire to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Adaptability: Eagerness to thrive and learn in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship experience in capacity planning, supply chain, or demand forecasting.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure components (GPUs, servers, or data centers).

Responsibilities

  • Support Infrastructure Scaling: Assist in managing plans to efficiently scale compute, network, and storage infrastructure for our AI-First cloud.
  • Data Analysis & Modeling: Collect and clean data from internal sources to help create models that drive capital and operational efficiencies.
  • Forecast Tracking: Support the team in understanding demand signals and trends to help generate accurate infrastructure forecasts.
  • Dashboard Development: Assist in the requirements gathering and maintenance of capacity dashboards to monitor resource utilization and infrastructure health.
  • Cross-Functional Learning: Partner with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to learn how demand signals translate into physical hardware requirements.
  • Problem Solving: Participate in identifying and solving capacity-related challenges, ensuring we meet our scaling targets in a cost-effective way.
