Work Habits: 30% • Ensures that the physical condition of campus facilities and grounds always meets SOLACC standards. • Provide individualized guidance to students with access to academic, admissions, financial, and personal support services, and advise students on potential course work, program availability, or career pathways for both credit and non-credit programs, appropriately documenting those interactions in the systems required. • Assist students in navigating college systems, such as transfer counseling, course registration, financial aid, and advising processes. • Monitors student progress, identifying barriers, and advising students of resources available to promote academic and student success. • Maintain awareness of important academic and financial deadlines, program start dates, and documentation required for those programs, proactively reminding and informing students of those dates. • Assist students with understanding the policies and procedures for satisfactory academic progress and degree/certificate completion. • Document student interactions, referrals, and follow-ups through student support systems or case management software (CRM). • Apply a culturally accepting and inclusive perspective to all student interactions. • Uphold confidentiality and compliance with FERPA and institutional policies. • Receive, inspect, and document incoming deliveries, ensuring adherence to SoLAcc Asset Management and Receiving procedures. • Perform proper record-keeping for facilities usage, fleet management, and audit compliance to support loss prevention efforts. • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies in alignment with campus needs and budget controls. • Promote a culture of faculty and staff compliance with SoLAcc policies, local regulations, and safety standards at that location. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Institutional Support: 25% • Ensure that all campus operations support a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for students. • Assists the Office of Enrollment Services with organizing on-campus student workshops, resource fairs, and informational sessions, such as Student Success Live, focused on academic success and personal development. • Support the Office of Enrollment Services with outreach efforts by preparing materials for orientation, events, or workshops. • Works with the Office of Student Engagement in developing, planning, and executing on-campus events and extracurricular activities • Serve as a knowledgeable campus connector, referring students to the Office of Student Engagement for resources such as counseling, disability support, tutoring, and career services. • Identify and communicate barriers to providing services and help develop strategies to improve student experiences. • Serve as liaison to vendors, contractors, and other SoLAcc departments. • Build positive relationships with community members and external agencies to support the college’s mission. Team Relations: 10% • Participate in leadership meetings and provide insight into campus operations, risk management, and student support efforts. • Assist the Regional Director with campus operational planning, reporting, and process improvement. Leadership: 25% • Serve as a visible leader on campus, building relationships with students and responding to needs and concerns. • Oversee daily non-instructional operations to ensure a smooth and efficient campus environment. • Supervises and ensures the proper training of all assigned front office staff at the designated location. • Manage facilities, equipment, and technology to support campus functioning and student learning. • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks related to safety, facilities, and logistics. • Act as lead administrator during any campus incident or emergency, responding to and resolving those incidents effectively and reporting those events to the appropriate offices or departments. • Lead planning and execution of emergency drills, taking an active role in training campus staff in those procedures. • Coordinate security protocols and ensure the proper monitoring of building access and surveillance systems. • Responsible for participating in budget development and adhering to final budgets.
