About The Position

Joining Oakwood Village as a Campus Administration Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting campus leadership and learning about the daily operations of a mission-driven senior living community. This internship includes both administrative support and the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful special project that supports campus priorities and organizational effectiveness. This position reports to the Executive Director. Understanding assisted living community standards and standard operating procedures. Ensuring a positive experience for residents, families, and staff. Enhancing customer service and communication skills. Developing leadership and community management abilities.

Requirements

  • This internship is open to current Undergraduate or Graduate students.
  • Strong professionalism and ability to interact respectfully with staff, residents, families, and community partners.
  • Requires a customer service orientation with empathy and discretion.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality in a professional setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Studying Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to campus leadership with scheduling, coordination, and general office tasks.
  • Assists with preparation of materials for meetings, reports, and leadership initiatives.
  • Supports day-to-day administrative needs of the campus leadership team.
  • Assists with a meaningful special project assigned by the Executive Director.
  • Provides support with research, organization, documentation, and follow-through related to the project.
  • Helps support planning and coordination of campus events and activities.
  • Assists with logistics, communication, and follow-up as needed.
  • Collaborates with multiple departments to support campus operations.
  • Performs additional administrative duties as assigned.
