Camp Site Coordinator, Seasonal (44510)
About The Position
We are seeking Camp Site Coordinators who will be responsible for the daily operations and safety of the campers and staff ages 3 and up. This includes planning, organizing, leading, and supervising the day to day operations of the camp program. This position gives direction and evaluates the Assistant Camp Site Coordinator, Camp Counselors, Counselors-in-Training and camp participants. The Camp Site Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining current and accurate records relative to all aspects of the camp, including attendance, participant information, and time sheets. Camp location and age of participants will vary based on selected camp.
Requirements
- Individuals must have a sound background and working knowledge of camp programs and activities.
- Advanced level written and verbal communication in the English language is required as well as basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be CPR/AED and first-aid certified or have the ability to become certified (through our district) prior to the onset of the program.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) plus college credits in education, recreation or other related field of study.
- Commit to the camp.
- Training begins May 18 with camp running June 8 and running through August 21.
- Work Monday through Friday approximately 30 to 40 hours per week. Hours will vary based on selected camp.
