If you want to utilize your experience working with kids in a camp setting, the City of Olathe is looking for experienced individuals to work as Assistant Directors at one of five outdoor summer camps held at our beautiful Olathe parks. Come and join the fun this summer at Camp Olathe! Olathe's 2026 camps run from Tuesday, May 26th through Friday, July 31st. Staff will need to be available for required training and meetings taking place before camp starts- New Hire Training: May 14th (5pm-6pm) All Camp Training Nights: May 18th and May 21st (5pm-8pm) CPR/First Aid Training (If not already certified): May 9th (9am-2pm) STARTING HOURLY PAY RANGE: $16.50 - $18.00 based on experience For more details, review the full job details and requirements below. The Assistant Camp Director assists with the design and correct delivery of program activities that are safe, fun, and appropriate for the age and abilities of campers. Additionally, this position aids the Camp Director with management of the overall daily operations of the City's outdoor day camp for elementary-age children.
