Easterseals NH Camp Sno-Mo, in collaboration with the Scouts of America Daniel Webster Council and sponsored by the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association, offers a nationally-recognized, residential camp program. This program provides a life-changing experience for youth ages 11 to 21 with disabilities, enabling them to participate inclusively in a wide range of activities such as aquatics, archery, riflery, zip lines, ropes courses, STEAM, ecology, arts and crafts, sailing, canoeing, and adaptive horseback riding. The Camp Nurse plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of these campers, reviewing medical needs prior to admission, and providing comprehensive nursing care. This includes assessment, triage, and managing complex medical conditions like feeding tubes, diabetes, and seizure management for medically fragile children. The Camp Nurse will oversee 10-24 campers and 17 staff, supported by 3-4 EMS staff and a nurse at a sister camp. Easterseals New Hampshire and Vermont is dedicated to elevating people of all abilities, serving approximately 18,000 individuals annually across two states with programs in early intervention, autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, adult day and in-home care, behavioral health, child welfare, housing, and substance use disorders.
