About The Position

Cranbrook Institute of Science’s on-site Explore Camps give inquisitive campers
the support they need to learn through doing. Campers work together to tackle
activities, experiments, and investigations as they explore popular science

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years demonstrated experience engaging and managing youth in group activities such as camp, scouts, formal classroom settings, or after school programs.
• Ability to effectively relate to campers, staff, and parents.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 years’ experience working with children in a camp/group setting.

Responsibilities

• This position works with campers attending before or after care
• manages lunch with campers
• assists directors with camp materials and logistics.
