The Activities Director is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive activities and therapeutic recreation program for acute, skilled swing bed, and extended care/long-term patients in a Critical Access Hospital setting. This position ensures activities meet regulatory guidelines, support patients' physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs, and enhance overall quality of life. The Activities Director collaborates closely with nursing, therapy, social services, and other interdisciplinary team members to provide person-centered programming tailored to each patient's abilities and interests.
