About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Therapist to join our Adult Behavioral Health program in York, PA. This is a future-dated opportunity with an expected start date of August 3, 2026. Schedule: 40 hours/week; Tuesday 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Wednesday–Thursday 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; Friday–Saturday 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Some schedule flexibility is available. Earn: $24.44/hour, plus shift differentials. Position Details Our Therapists provide direct mental health services to residents in an Extended Acute Care (EAC) setting, working closely with individuals who are living with chronic and severe mental illness. Utilizing evidence-based practices and the principles of recovery and resiliency, Therapists play a vital role in fostering therapeutic engagement, supporting clinical stability, and promoting long-term recovery. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents who require intensive, ongoing support in a structured and compassionate environment.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or related field required.
  • Must have an active and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years minimum experience providing therapy to individuals with serious and persistent mental health disorders is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices aligned with recovery and resiliency principles.
  • Meet clinical productivity standards as defined by the Program Director.
  • Foster active resident engagement to support treatment participation and recovery progress.
  • Complete daily progress notes by the end of each workday to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Develop and update monthly treatment plans and bi-weekly progress summaries in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Manage the comprehensive clinical, emotional, and social needs of assigned residents, including coordination with internal and external support resources.
  • Conduct formal assessments of symptom severity and high-risk indicators, including suicide ideation (SI), depression, trauma, and physical health concerns.
  • Seek clinical supervision and support for high-risk cases to ensure appropriate care and risk management.
  • Attend and complete all required program trainings to maintain compliance and enhance clinical competency.
