About The Position

Call Center Representative – Primary Care (Centralized Office) We are currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented Call Center Representative to join our centralized call center supporting our primary care offices. This role is responsible for handling inbound calls, scheduling appointments, assisting patients with questions, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a medical office or healthcare call center
  • Experience handling high-volume inbound calls required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant experience preferred but not required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the medical field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handles inbound calls from patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments efficiently
  • Provides accurate information regarding office services, providers, and procedures
  • Documents patient interactions and updates patient records accurately
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with HIPAA regulations
  • Assists patients with basic billing and payment inquiries
  • Routes calls appropriately and escalates concerns when necessary
  • Responds calmly and effectively to patients who may be distressed or frustrated
  • Maintains knowledge of policies, procedures, and scheduling guidelines
  • Contributes to team efforts and supports daily call center operations
