The Opportunity The Part-Time (28 hours per week) Call Center Representative plays a critical role in supporting shareholder engagement during proxy solicitation campaigns. This position is responsible for making and receiving calls with shareholders to solicit proxy votes, respond to inquiries, and provide clear, accurate information regarding corporate actions, shareholder meetings, and voting materials. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, detail-focused, and confident communicating in a professional, courteous manner. This role requires comfort following structured scripts while delivering a positive and respectful experience for every shareholder interaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a proxy solicitation, investor services, or financial services call center environment.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Exceptional customer services abilities
  • Ability to follow structured scripts while maintaining a natural, professional, and engaging delivery.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned part-time shifts consistently.
  • Demonstrated professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities preferred (ideally Spanish).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to shareholders to solicit proxy votes in alignment with campaign guidelines, scripts, and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to inbound shareholder inquiries related to proxy materials, voting procedures, meeting logistics, and corporate actions.
  • Deliver clear, accurate, and professional information while maintaining a respectful and customer-focused tone.
  • Accurately document call outcomes, shareholder responses, and relevant notes within internal call-tracking systems.
  • Adhere to all compliance standards, confidentiality requirements, and company policies.
  • Escalate complex, sensitive, or non-routine inquiries to supervisors as appropriate.
  • Consistently meet established performance expectations, including call quality, accuracy, and productivity metrics.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
