Calibration Coordinator (Temporary)

The Calibration Coordinator is responsible for all calibration activities within the Quality department at Vander-Bend.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years administrative experience.
- Familiar with performing measurements.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Good language skills both written and oral.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment.
- Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Responsibilities
- Calibration planning, gage ordering, review of calibration certificates.
- Coordinate calibration schedules with external calibration vendors.
- Record keeping which includes software system update with status.
- May perform calibrations if needed.
- Engrave and label gages.
- Discuss calibration principles and procedures with vendors.
- Assist with incoming inspection of parts and perform measurements.
