About The Position

Responsible for ensuring that all accounting activities in the Cage Department are performed accurately and efficiently, in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of the Gaming Commission, Federal and State Tax Commission, and established CCCH policies, procedures and controls.

Requirements

  • Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.
  • HS DIPLOMA
  • Minimum 3 years’ previous supervisory experience in a similar or related field.
  • Additional education and/or related work experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of this position.
  • Must possess superior math skills.
  • Must have large-sum money handling experience.
  • Must be able to operate a 10-key calculator, by sight.
  • Must possess the ability to exercise sound, mature judgment.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, be able to effectively explain complicated information, and be able to de-escalate tense situations while maintaining a calm and professional composure.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume operation.
  • Must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
  • Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
  • Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment. Aim to exceed guest expectations with attentive, personalized service and prompt responses and resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Verify procedures and sign-off on forms requiring a Cage Supervisor's signature.
  • Prepare weekly schedules for assigned shift when need arises.
  • Ensure all internal control policies, procedures, and State Gaming Compact provisions are being always followed in the Cage.
  • Ensure all support duties and responsibilities to all departments are carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensure immediate action is taken in any situation that might be illegal or otherwise extraordinary.
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with Team Members and Guests.
  • Fill the Ticket Redemption kiosks
  • Other duties, as assigned
  • Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced atmosphere and work under pressure.
