As a Casino Shift Manager, you will assist the Cage/Credit Manager in protecting casino cage assets by implementing accounting and documentation policies and procedures, monitoring transactions, and ensuring compliance with company internal controls policies, procedures, laws and regulations. Requirements

  • High School/GED preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in all facets of cage operations.
  • Ability to operate calculators, computers and money counters for cash and coin
  • Knowledge of cage computer system
  • Ability to handle high volume and stress situations.
  • Basic math skills with knowledge of currency
  • Excellent guest service communication skills
  • Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.
  • Frequently speak, read, write, stand, walk, bend and stoop
  • Able to push, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering excellent internal and external guest service while maintaining physical and custodial control of all casino cage assets during assigned shifts.
  • Supervises, train, evaluate performance, coach team members, and assist with employee scheduling.
  • Review and monitor documents and transactions to ensure compliance with gaming regulations, applicable laws, and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate guest credit records, report and research cage variances, and audit and verify transactions with the table games department.
  • Approve check cashing and credit issuance in accordance with established policies, resolve guest complaints and disputes in a professional manner, and perform the duties of the Casino Cage/Credit Manager in their absence.
  • Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned.
