About The Position
The Café Team Member helps bring the Spice experience to life at the Cleveland Botanical Garden Café. This hands-on, guest-facing role supports all areas of café service — from coffee and cocktails to food prep and guest interaction — ensuring every visitor enjoys warm, efficient, and thoughtful hospitality that reflects Spice’s seasonal and sustainable approach.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Prior experience in café, food, or beverage service preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, reliable attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Weekend and evening availability required.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service at the counter, barista station, and bar.
- Operate the POS system accurately and handle transactions efficiently.
- Assist with food prep, product rotation, and restocking as needed.
- Maintain café cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
- Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Support café operations during special events and peak service times.
