Barista/Cafe Team Member
About The Position
Join our team at Buddy Brew Coffee, a specialty coffee company, and become a key player in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our guests. We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Barista. Full time and Part time positions available. Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly as they enter the cafe Guide guests through our diverse drink and food menu, answering any questions they may have Take orders with careful attention to details such as coffee blend preferences, dairy choices, and sugar requirements Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages following Buddy Brew Coffee recipes Serve beverages in a high-quality and presentable manner Handle cash transactions and process credit card payments accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work station Ensure stock levels of ceramic, cutlery, and paper goods are adequate Regularly check and maintain brewing equipment, reporting any issues in the shift report Adhere to local health and safety regulations Communicate guest feedback to managers for continuous improvement Actively suggest menu additions or alterations based on customer preferences Perform other duties as assigned Skills: Previous work experience in the Food/Beverage industry Barista experience is preferred but not required Hands-on experience with brewing equipment Knowledge of sanitation regulations Food Handlers certification in Florida (or ability to become certified within 90 days) Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Basic math and cash handling skills Ability to understand and respond to guest preferences Excellent communication skills Ability to work in close proximity with others in a cooperative manner At Buddy Brew Coffee, we value individuals who are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience. Requirements
- Previous work experience in the Food/Beverage industry
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Food Handlers certification in Florida (or ability to become certified within 90 days)
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Ability to understand and respond to guest preferences
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in close proximity with others in a cooperative manner
