About The Position

Our Café Team member ensures a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests by preparing and serving quality food and beverages, providing friendly customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting kitchen and dining environment. This role promotes a culture of hospitality and customer service to foster community, fun, and connection through food.

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service, food and beverage, or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety standards, while accommodating guest requests.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and inviting Café and dining room environment that creates a positive visual first impression for all guests, including wiping tables, clearing dishes, restocking supplies, and emptying waste.
• Greet guests warmly and take orders accurately, offering menu suggestions when needed.
• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and special requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately, including cash management.
• Ensure all food preparation and dining service areas are clean, safe, organized, and well-stocked.
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to meet quality, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Perform Café opening and closing procedures.
• Support memorable, engaging experiences for groups, such as field trips, birthday parties, community organizations, and events.
• Assist with Catering food preparation, service setup, event execution, and clean-up.
• Other duties as assigned.
