Requirements

Effective verbal and written communication skills
Minimum of 4 years of experience in food service industry
Graduate of culinary school with leadership experience
Calvary Chapel must be your home church
Demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus through spiritual and moral integrity (Romans 10:9-10)
Fruit of the Spirit is consistently displayed in your life (Galatians 5:22-23)
Be a reflection of God’s love to colleagues and visitors (John 13:34-35)
Participation in our church body for at least one year
Mature, ongoing relationship with Christ and regularly attend church service
Servant-heart and optimistic attitude (Philippians 2:3)
A dependable team player who understands unity and works well with people (Ephesians 4:3)
Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Responsibilities

Write daily prep sheets for each department
supervise daily operations in the kitchen and on serving lines
do some product ordering
Work on sheets with kitchen staff.
Oversee produce and cookie orders
make sure assigned tasks are completed
BOH Inventory
Responsible for managing the eSELFSERVE system for all employees (Philippians 2:4)
Speak with vendors
Ordering and doing invoices
Working Chef
Coordinating catering events alongside Director
Maintenance on kitchen equipment
Make sure standardized recipes are followed for all preparations
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Communicate any new information to Director of Food Services as new information arrives (Ecclesiastes 4:9)
Write and maintain kitchen schedule
Write daily specials, post online and display in case Friday before the new week
Supervise production and service of school lunch
Supervise catered functions food production and service
End-of-month inventory
Monitor food cost hold at 38-40% (2 Corinthians 9: 6-7)
Function as a productive part of the church staff and attend staff meetings in coordination with direct supervisor (1 Peter 4:10)
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor (Colossians 3:23)
