Prepares high quality food using standardized recipes and procedures that follow food safety regulations. Maintains safety of foods by adhering to food safety standards and by accurately labeling and dating items. Manages stock and par levels in storage and on display Café merchandise, supplying twice weekly reports to ordering manager to maintain proper stock and supplies. Oversee the orientation and training of new staff in Café operations, including but not limited to: cooking, cleaning, stocking, cash register operations, order taking, and customer service relations. Processes customer transactions in an accurate, timely and courteous manner while keeping the traffic flow moving quickly through the station. Oversees completion of daily/weekly cleaning assignments in Café. Assigns and completes additional cleaning as needed.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent in training and experience.
  • 1 year experience in related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Specific business experience with older adults or in the retirement housing industry preferred.
