Under the direct leadership of the retail manager, the barista/cashier is responsible for preparing quality drinks accurately and consistently, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The Barista will take and process guests’ orders correctly and accept payment. Interact with guests in a friendly, knowledgeable, and polite manner. Act in a professional and trustworthy manner. Call guests by name when their drinks are ready. Describe and sell products and retail merchandise. Complete duties assigned by the Manager EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S): High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience as a barista in the care/usage of a cash register and cash handling is preferred. Mathematical skills are essential. Prior experience in retail or institutional food services is preferred. Must be able to interpret and apply simple instructions. Communication requirements include the ability to comprehend the spoken English language in addition to being able to communicate and read the English language.
