CAD Technician - Entry to Junior Level

Requirements
- Associate's degree in Drafting/Design with 0-2 years of experience
- Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Civil 3D and MicroStation
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800 -171
- Moffatt & Nichol uses E-Verify and employment is contingent upon the legal ability to obtain employment in the U.S. and to present the required documentation at hire
Responsibilities
- Uses computer assisted design/drafting with emphasis on structural drafting using Revit
- Uses ACAD (Autodesk), Civil 3D, and/or Microstation equipment and software to draft designs
- Creates and revises production drawings (detail and assembly drawings)
- Makes final sketch of proposed drawings, checking dimensions, materials, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project
- Utilizes knowledge of various engineering practices, mathematics, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings
- Utilizes skills necessary to read blueprints, create 3-dimensional models, assemblies, and working drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD
