Join a Company that Empowers you to Build your Future Lennar is seeking a CAD Drafter to be responsible for production and maintenance of residential working drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software platforms. Applicant must be skilled in AutoCAD and Revit software and have a working knowledge of Single Family and Multi Family Residential construction. A career with purpose. Requirements

  • Minimum Two (2) years of experience in drafting/design for high-volume production homebuilding operation.
  • Two(2) – four(4) years AutoCAD (or higher) experience in Architectural discipline preferred.
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Architecture, Drafting/Design or related discipline
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills – Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to perform accurate, consistent and detail-oriented work with simultaneously deadlines
  • Must be highly motivated
  • Must be able to handle constructive feedback and work in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Using AutoCAD, must be able to produce and maintain multiple projects at one time.
  • Maximize team productivity and deliver professional integrity.
  • May be asked to review and approve the work of third-party design consultants.
  • Present work in a manner to ensure satisfaction or make revisions as necessary.
  • Knowledge in all of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and offer extensive problem-solving skill-set.
  • Ensure architectural work is completed on time.
  • Maintain CAD standards and specifications.
  • Knowledge of code compliance in all jurisdictions; city, county, state, international.
  • Prepare CAD drawing for submittals, permit approvals, field change orders, construction documents.
  • File management.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
