About The Position
Prepares detailed drawings and pattern designs using CAD tools.
Requirements
- Experience with HVAC fabrication, including duct/pipe spooling.
- Experience with HVAC 3D.
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
- Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 2 to 4 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with HVAC Operations team members.
- Organizes and schedules work to accomplish project goals while meeting project budgets and deadlines.
- Maintains HVAC standards and drawing database.
- Designs frameworks for a project and creates detailed design documentations.
- Ensures drawings meet product design goals.
- Suggests improvement to the product, based on initial design.
- Aids in the selection of materials for the products.
