About The Position

The Cable Technician role involves pulling, dressing, and labeling Cat5e/Cat6 cabling in accordance with TIA/EIA standards. The technician will begin RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations under guidance, assist with cable identification, and learn basic punch-downs for telecom blocks. Responsibilities also include supporting cable testing using tools like Fluke and EXFO under supervision, gaining exposure to fiber cable dressing and handling, and adhering to safety protocols while maintaining an organized work environment. The position is a contract-to-hire role based in Lenoir, NC, with a schedule that may include overtime and Saturday work.

Responsibilities
