About The Position

We are seeking a Low Voltage Electrical Apprentice to join our team and support low‑voltage installation projects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the low‑voltage or telecommunications field through hands‑on training and on‑the‑job experience. The apprentice will work alongside experienced technicians to learn installation, troubleshooting, and safety practices while supporting projects in commercial and industrial environments.

Requirements

  • Entry‑level candidates encouraged to apply
  • Interest in low‑voltage, electrical, or IT infrastructure work
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to pass drug and BGC screening
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Monday–Friday work schedule
  • Approximately 50 hours per week
  • Overtime is expected and required
  • Ability to work on ladders and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in construction or jobsite environments

Nice To Haves

  • Previous cabling, construction, or hands‑on technical experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation of low‑voltage systems such as:
  • Data and network cabling
  • Fiber and copper cabling
  • Access control, cameras, and other low‑voltage systems
  • Pull, route, and secure cabling according to specifications
  • Assist with equipment mounting, labeling, and basic terminations
  • Follow jobsite safety standards and company procedures
  • Learn to read and follow basic prints and work orders
  • Support technicians with tools, materials, and setup
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
