Cable Technician
About The Position
This is a great opportunity for entry-level technicians looking to build hands-on experience on a large construction site. Technicians will work alongside experienced professionals performing structured cabling and security system installations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidates with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Scope of Work Work to be performed includes: Cable pulling, termination, and splicing of Fiber, Cat5, and Cat6 Security system installations, including Access Control and Camera systems Assisting with cable pulling and terminating keystone-style jacks on a large construction site

Responsibilities
- Pulling, terminating, and testing Cat5/Cat6 and fiber optic cables
- Installing cabling infrastructure such as racks and cabinets
- Installing network racks and cabinets in server rooms
- Reviewing all job documentation for assigned projects, including:
- Floor plans and equipment locations
- Reflected ceiling plans
- Conduit call-outs
- Wall elevations
- Signal flow diagrams
- Cable pull schedules
