The Cable Manufacturing Technician manufactures, assembles, and preps the required wiring assemblies for the Speaker manufacturing department. This is a Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM Shift QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job under direct supervision of the Cable Department Manager. Ability to read and follow procedures and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. Ability to troubleshoot and repair cables and related assemblies. Attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy to ensure production at expected quality and quantity levels Basic math and counting skills Ability to work independently once a task has been mastered Some lifting and physical labor required EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma 0-2 years' experience assembling in a manufacturing environment RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Wire prep Soldering and crimping Trouble shoot and repair cables and assemblies Track daily job routings Enter inventory transactions into the ERP system Other tasks as assigned.
