About The Position

The Cable Manufacturing Technician is responsible is for the building and repair of cables within the Manufacturing division.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow procedures and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair cables and related devices.
• Attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy to ensure production at expected quality and quantity levels
• Familiarity operating test equipment
• Ability to work independently once a task has been mastered
• Some lifting and physical labor required
• High School Diploma
• 0-2 years' experience assembling in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Wire prep
• Soldering and crimping
• Trouble shoot and repair cables and devices
• Track daily job routings
• Enter inventory transactions into the ERP system
• Other task as assigned.
