Deliver Great Customer ServiceDIY Cabinet Pro, an online kitchen and bath cabinet sales and design company based out of Billings, Montana, is seeking experienced Cabinet Sales Representatives to join our team as an independent contractor (1099). This role is ideal for self-directed sales professionals who excel at generating new business, managing a sales pipeline, and guiding clients through cabinetry projects from initial consultation through completion. It may be that you are a contractor seeking assistance in spatial cabinetry design and product. This is not a passive showroom or order-taking role. You will actively develop opportunities, manage client relationships end-to-end, and work closely with ownership and leadership to grow revenue through cabinet sales and related project work.Role OverviewThe Cabinet Sales Representative role combines business development, consultative sales, cabinetry expertise, and project coordination. You will independently source prospects, establish project scope and budgets, secure client agreements or retainers when applicable, and coordinate contractor-managed cabinet projects through completion. Prospects such as home builders, developers, carpenters, interior designers, and more.

Requirements

  • Strong business development and consultative sales skills with the ability to independently generate and close opportunities
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities
  • Solid understanding of cabinetry, spatial planning, proportion, and functional layout considerations
  • Proficiencies in 2020 Design or comparable platforms, such as CAD, or Sketchup
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent productivity tools
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with digital recordkeeping, file management, and basic administrative practices

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cabinetry sales, kitchen and bath, or related design-build environments strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in commission-based or independent contractor sales roles is a plus
  • Formal education in design, construction, or a related field is beneficial but not required
