Build and assemble cabinets, shelving, and other fixtures using various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic. Inspect completed items for accuracy, cleanliness, and flaws, ensuring they meet quality standards before installation. Fill, sand, and finish assembled units Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and join materials Install hardware, such as hinges, handles, drawers, locks, and other accessories Measure, mark, and cut parts according to specifications Ability to lift heavy items and work in various positions, including standing for long periods. Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during assembly and find effective solutions. Read and interpret blueprints and other drawings to determine the type and dimensions of parts to be constructed Maintain tools and equipment in clean and good working condition Maintain safety standards Ability to use hand tools, and power tools to cut, shape and join materials Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to use measuring instruments Ability to assemble parts with accuracy Ability to follow directions and work independently Strong focus on precision and quality in craftsmanship.
