JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests according to established standards. Maintains guest satisfaction and keeps work areas clean at all times. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures that guests receive prompt, friendly and personal services. Greets guests with welcome baskets, suggestively sells food and beverage items by possessing knowledge of menu items. Provides the guest with information regarding TapTu Pay and shares relevant information regarding weather conditions Ensures orders are taken and placed accurately, assists the food runners with food deliveries, provides condiments, fulfills and replenishes drinks and/or food items. Maintains positive guest satisfaction by closely monitoring the cabanas and/or premium seating areas, answers questions, accommodates special requests and properly closes out checks. Ensures server stations are stocked with caddies, trays, tray jacks, menus and dry goods. Performs side work to include: rolling utensils, preparing condiment caddies and ensures the cleanliness of the area to include: menus, trays and other equipment or items needed to serve the guests. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
